And time marches on!

It’s daunting to realise that one twelfth of the year has virtually gone by. After the festive season we took a well-earned rest for two weeks and enjoyed the beach to the full. Early morning and late afternoon walks, with the soft morning sunshine or the beautiful colours of the setting sun followed by a swim in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon.   I will never tire of watching the changing colours of the water as the sun follows its daily arc overhead. The teals, turquoise, aquamarines and blues – depending on the mood of the sea. It’s truly an inspiration when I am at the torch. My current favourite colour is teal. And it’s exactly the colour of the water here in the lagoon.

This year I really want to do some new designs and more complicated beads with silver foil, silver glass, murrini and colours which react with each other to give very special effects. Our Christmas range included our fairly new 3-piece silver plated chokers with special beads which proved very popular.

Another item I will be working on are the animal print beads which I had such fun with in November.

We have some new designs which will be available from Monday and a special bracelet to offer that special person for Valentine’s Day.

Hope you have a great weekend. I will be back early next week with the new designs.
